Young Female Dog - Shih Tzu: "lives in puppy mill" for sale in Lucknow, Ontario

this girl is 3 and lives in a local puppy mill
we are working on getting her out of there asap and having her spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped.
a kind woman who tries to help get these "defective" dogs out of the mill was good enough to go get pictures of her
the pup has lived in a cubicle with woodshavings - she will not have been housetrained but we have taken 16 dogs in from this miller and his friends and have found they do very well with a proper transition regime and learn quickly
these dogs often only know the love of the other dogs and therefore do very well in homes with other dogs
ideally we are looking for a home for her with a securely fenced yard as she will most likley have never seen outside before she was taken out for these photos - though she has had exposure to the children
we cannot afford to pay for boarding - we need several foster homes in order to be sure that no dogs are killed in the local pound or mill

we do require you to complete an application so that we know what your expectations and experience is. we would ask you to meet the animal that would be appropriate for you to foster with your family and own dogs.
